Referral Scheme

We, SLM, realise how important personal referrals are to one’s success as we are proud to say that the majority of our business over the years has come about from recommendations. Therefore, we consider each recommendation to be a great honour and compliment as it acts as a testament to our general proficiency and the high quality of service we aim to provide, because it shows how satisfied the original client was.

 

As Milton Friedman [1975] said, “There’s no such thing as a free lunch”, so we feel in order to justify any recommendations that maybe received, and as a gesture of goodwill, we are very pleased to offer financial incentives. These are given to individuals who have been so happy with the service that we have provided them in the past, that they have gone on to recommend us to their friends, families or colleagues who then instruct us as an agent to sell, rent or source their property for them.

 

*Upon completion of the sale/letting, we will send the individual who referred the business:

 

…up to £500 (for a sale or purchase)

…£150 for a letting or tenancy (min 1 year)

 

We value each and every one, no matter how large or small the ultimate enquiry or instruction, therefore if you wish to refer somebody, or have been recommended to us, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

* Money will be paid upon receipt of the commission being received by SLM.

 

SLM referral policy excludes referrals of existing clients or those who have been clients of SLM within the last 3 months of the referral being made.

 

Helpful advice:  If the person referred already has their property available to sell or let through another agent, on a sole agency and/or sole selling rights basis, the terms and conditions of those instructions must be considered to avoid the possible liability to pay two commissions.
